Position the chair in a safe, open area with the Participant seated comfortably.
Ensure the chair has back support and that the Participant’s feet are firmly touching the floor.
Inflate 4-6 colored balloons and prepare cards with matching colors (use colored construction paper or index cards).
Play classical music or calming background sounds.
Optionally, provide a small plastic lightweight racket for added variation.

– The Participant taps or bats the balloon with their hand to keep it in the air, matching the color shown on the card.
– Repeat with different colored balloons for 5-10 rounds.
Part 2: Increasing Complexity
– The Helper upgrades the activity by showing 2-4 color cards in sequence.
– The Participant taps the balloons in the order of the colors displayed.
– Repeat the sequence for 3-5 trials, adjusting based on the Participant’s skill level.
Part 3: Optional Racket Use
– Introduce the lightweight racket as an alternative to using hands.
