How to Do:
1. Setup:
- The participant and helper sit facing each other, about 4–5 feet apart.
- Use sturdy chairs with backs for stability.
- A medium-sized plastic bouncy ball is required for the activity.
2. Model and Take Turns:
- The helper demonstrates each pattern and sequence for the participant to follow.
- Alternate turns between the helper and participant to encourage engagement.
3. Bouncing Patterns and Sequences:
- Pattern 1: Bounce the ball 5 times in front. Repeat this 3 times.
- Pattern 2: Bounce the ball 5 times to the right side, then 5 times to the left side. Repeat this sequence.
- Pattern 3: Bounce the ball 1 time to the left, 1 time in the center (front), and 1 time to the right. Repeat this sequence 3 times.
- Pattern 4: Play catch with the ball, tossing it back and forth 10 times. Repeat.
